Introduction

The department of PG Studies in Mathematics is working with great efficiency and impressive results since 2009 under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Kurian, Alva’s college and with kind support of the chairman Dr. M Mohan Alva, Alva’s Education Foundation.

The department is at the edge of completing 15 years with the 450+ alumni’s placed at varied positions in many esteemed institutions and corporate companies.

Course Offered
M.Sc. Mathematics – Two Years (Four Semesters)

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed the three year B.Sc. degree examination of Mangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto with Mathematics as major/optional/special subject are eligible for the programme provided they have secured a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates) marks in Mathematics.
