Extensive Collection

The library houses a rich collection of over 45,585 books, along with 67 journals and 56 magazines, in addition to e-books, research papers, and reference materials across diverse disciplines such as Management, Commerce, Computer Science, and more.

Library Membership

All students are automatically enrolled as library members upon admission, granting them access to borrowing privileges, digital resources, and other facilities.

The library maintains an archive of historical documents, rare manuscripts, and previous examination papers for academic reference and research.

 

Library Hours

Open daily from 8:30 AM to 11 PM, ensuring flexible access for all students.

 

General Guidelines
  • Students must carry their College Identity Card at all times.
  • ID cards must be scanned at the entry/exit counter. If scanning fails, details must be recorded in the register.
  • A minimum of 30 library hours per semester is compulsory.
  • Maintain silence and discipline at all times.
  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
  • Eating inside the library is not allowed.
  • Personal belongings must be deposited at the entrance counter.
  • Issues of books, journals, magazines and newspapers for an overnight reference’s is added privilege to students.

 

Borrowing Rules
  • Borrowers must present their card personally (no authorization allowed).
  • PG students may borrow up to 3 books, while UG students may borrow up to 2 books, each for a period of 12 days.
  • Late returns will incur a fine of ₹5 per day per book.
  • Lost or damaged books must be replaced immediately.
  • Borrowers must ensure books are in good condition before issue.

 

Borrowing Procedure
  1. Select the required books from the shelves.
  2. Verify that all pages are intact before issuing.
  3. Submit the book along with your library card at the circulation counter.
  4. Check the due date carefully.
  5. Issued books should not be taken into the reading area.

 

Additional Rules
  • Maintain proper arrangement of furniture.
  • Sleeping in the library is not permitted.
  • Any grievances can be reported to the Chief Librarian or submitted in the suggestion box.
  • Borrower cards must be produced during clearance (No Due Certificate).
