Objectives:
This section is an introduction to some of the terminology, processes and equipment used in the Graphic Design/Prepress industries (the Graphic Arts). It is written primarily for people that have never touched these subjects, or even experienced the Graphic Design and Printing industries before.
PART – 1: Fundamentals of Graphic Design: Hours: 10
Internet, Image downloading, editing, cropping, scanning, Printing and colour theory etc
Practical’s: Practice as per explanation
PART – 2: Photoshop: Hours: 25
Introduction of Photoshop, drawing in Photoshop, Files Handling, Colour and Tone, Paint- Fills and Patterns, Working with Layers and Photoshop
PART – 3: CorelDRAW: Hours: 25
Finding and inserting drawing content, working with templets, undoing, redoing, and repeating actions, accessing drawing information, zooming, backing up and recovering files, saving drawings, drawing lines, rectangles, squares, polygons and stars, creating drop shadow, applying transparency and fitting text to path
PART – 4: Design Hours: 20
How to make printing designs like-2dimentional, advertisements, poster, visiting card, Envelop, letterhead and other few media.
