Moodbidri: Alva’s Education Foundation (AEF) has entered into a five-year agreement with CompCloud IT Services to modernize its IT infrastructure through the implementation of Education Desktop-as-a-Service (EDaaS).
This system provides virtual desktop facilities to each teaching and non-teaching staff member, creating a centralized computer management system with Software-Defined Networking (SDN), which is expected to result in significant energy savings.
Speaking on the occasion, AEF Managing Trustee Vivek Alva emphasized that investing in non-durable items leads to unnecessary expenses. He highlighted that this agreement aims to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective managed solutions through EDaaS.
The EDaaS system has been implemented across Alva’s (Autonomous)College, Alva’s Ayurvedic Medical College and Alva’s Schools. Present at the signing were Pradeep Pai, Managing Director of CompCloud IT Services; Principal Dr. Kuriyan, Dr. N.P. Narayana Shetty, Registrar of Examinations; Shantaram Kamath, Finance Officer and Balakrishna Shetty, College Administrator.

ಮೈಕ್ರೋಸಾಫ್ಟ್ ಆಫೀಸ್ ೩೬೫ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ ಡೆಸ್ಕಟಾಪ್-ಆಸ್-ಎ-ಸರ್ವೀಸ್ (EDaaS) ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವಾತವರಣವು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಡೋಕ್ಯುಮೆಂಟೇಶನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಡೇಟಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ತರಗತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಲರ್ನಿಂಗ್ ಸ್ಪೇಸ್‌ಗಳಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಅನುಭವ ನೀಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಆಳ್ವಾಸ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಆಳವಡಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಯಮಸಿದ್ದ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ- ಡಾ ಎಂ ಮೋಹನ ಆಳ್ವ.
ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ ಡೆಸ್ಕಟಾಪ್-ಆಸ್-ಎ-ಸರ್ವೀಸ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಆಳ್ವಾಸ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಪದವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ಆಳ್ವಾಸ್ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
