The purpose of Fee Policy is to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance in the collection, payment, refund, and management of fees for all academic programmes offered by the Institution. The policy is framed in accordance with the guidelines issued by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the State Government, the Fee Regulatory Committee, the Affiliating University, and other competent authorities, wherever applicable.
Fee Structure
- The fee structure shall be approved by the Governing Council.
- The approved fee structure shall be displayed on the College website and notice board.
- No fee other than the approved fee shall be collected from students without due approval.
Institutional Scholarships & Fee Concessions
Alva’s Educational Foundation provides scholarships and fee concessions to eligible students as per the Foundation’s Scholarship Policy and Procedures. Scholarships may be awarded based on academic merit, sports, cultural achievements, physical disability, tribal category, local students, Mijar village students, students from the North-Eastern States, and other categories approved by the Management from time to time.

Hostel Fee
The Institution provides hostel accommodation subject to availability and the applicable hostel rules.
- Students opting for hostel accommodation shall pay the prescribed hostel fee, mess charges, caution deposit.
- The approved hostel fee structure shall be published on notice board.
- Refund of hostel fees, if applicable, shall be governed by the Institution’s Hostel Refund Policy and the relevant statutory guidelines.
Mode of Payment
- Students shall pay the prescribed fees within the notified schedule.
- To facilitate ease of payment, the Institution permits students to pay the academic fees in three installments during each academic year, as per the schedule notified by the Finance Section.
- Fees may be paid through online payment, bank transfer, demand draft, or other approved digital modes.
- Fees shall be collected only under approved heads.
- Students shall receive an official receipt for every payment.
Refund Policy
- If a student withdraws before the commencement of the course, the Institution shall refund the fee collected after deducting a processing fee of not more than ₹1,000, subject to the prevailing regulatory guidelines.
- If a student withdraws after joining the course and the vacated seat is filled by another eligible candidate within the prescribed admission period, the Institution shall refund the applicable fee after deducting the permitted processing fee and any proportionate charges, as applicable.
- Original certificates and documents submitted by the student shall be returned promptly in accordance with the applicable regulatory provisions.
- Refunds shall be processed in accordance with the applicable regulations issued by the concerned authority from time to time.
