Students seeking admission should submit the duly filled in application form along with the prescribed registration fee within the date notified on the college notice board. A certified copy of the Marks list of the qualifying examination should also be attached.
Eligibility
Eligibility for admission to undergraduate programme:
A candidate who has completed two years of pre-university course from Karnataka or any other state of India or completed the equivalent course recognized by Mangalore University is eligible for admission .
Eligibility for admission to Post graduate programme:
A candidate who has completed relevant graduate programme from Mangalore University or any University from India or foreign countries considered as equivalent by Mangalore University is eligible for admission.
Process
Application forms can be obtained from the Admission officers on payment of Rs. 150/- in cash or by DD drawn in favour of “The Chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation ® , Moodbidri” . Application forms filled in, complete with all the information asked for, in the candidate’s own hand writing, should be registered in Admission Office by the due date with registration fee Rs. 150/-. Applications received by post will be registered only if a DD of Rs. 150/- payable to the “The Chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation®, Moodbidri” is enclosed. An acknowledgement will be sent only if a self addressed post card is enclosed.
Students who do not appear for the interview on the specified day are liable to lose the seat provisionally allotted to them. Students who are finally selected after the interview should pay the fees immediately. The fees will not be refunded under any circumstances. Selected students who do not pay the fees or after paying the fees do not attend the class for five consecutive days, will forfeit their seats. Original documents should be submitted to the college office while paying the fees.
The students shall keep sufficient attested xerox copies of their original documents/certificates.
Documents to be submitted during admission
- Original PUC or equivalent certificates
- Original marks card of X, XI and XII standards
- Course certificates of X, XI and XII standards
- Cumulative record book
- Transfer Certificate
- Conduct certificate from the institution last attended
- Passport size colour photo – 10 Nos. for semester courses
- Migration certificate (non Karnataka students)
- Student Visa in case of foreign students
Issue Of Eligibility Certificate
The students who have studied outside Karnataka shall get the eligibility certificate from Mangalore University at the time of admission. Candidates will not be admitted without obtaining the eligibility certificate from Mangalore University.
Foreign Students
Foreign students are admitted with their proper long term valid student visas only. The admission is confirmed only after the approval from the Mangalore University.
