Introduction
Master in Human Resource Development course was launched by the Alva’s College, A unit of Alva’s Education Foundation in the academic year 2009-10. The program is designed for aspirants with a strong desire to specialize in the Human resource Management. It focuses on developing HR leaders integrated with the business as partners. The program is composed of many artistic disciplines in various areas of management apart from HR courses coupled with astute guidance from the industry in the form of corporate mentorship programs and alumni interaction.
The prime focus of the program is to groom young generation to create, sustain and develop the business organizations and become change accelerators. The Department is committed to create a new generation of HR professionals who can be the Change leaders and Change Management Catalysts.

Eligibility
Candidates shall have passed the three years B.Com /B.B.M /B.B.A /B.H.R.D. Degree Examination of Mangalore University or any other Universities considered as equivalent there to provided they have obtained not less than 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate excluding language subjects.
