About ALVAS PARAKH

ALVA’S PARAKH is the institutional framework developed by Alva’s Institute to implement the objectives of AICTE PARAKH (Student Gap Analysis Portal Based Services). Through mentoring, gap analysis, remedial teaching, bridge courses, competency development, and continuous monitoring, the institution supports students in achieving improved academic performance, professional competencies, and holistic development.

ALVAS PARAKH facilitates competency-based learning by helping students identify areas for improvement and enabling faculty members to provide timely academic support through mentoring, remedial instruction and skill development activities.

 

Objectives

The objectives of implementing ALVAS PARAKH:

  • Identify learning gaps among students.
  • Enhance academic performance through evidence-based interventions.
  • Strengthen Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices.
  • Promote competency-based learning and continuous improvement.
  • Support mentoring and remedial teaching.
  • Improve students’ employability and professional competencies.

 

Institutional Implementation

The Institution has undertaken the following initiatives for implementing ALVAS PARAKH:

  • Issued an Office Order for implementation of ALVAS PARAKH.
  • Appointed an ALVAS PARAKH Coordinator.
  • Created awareness among faculty members and students.
  • Encouraged utilization of ALVAS PARAKH services, wherever applicable.
  • Integrated mentoring, remedial classes, and bridge courses based on identified learning needs.
  • Periodically reviewed implementation through IQAC and Heads of Departments.
