OBJECTIVES:
- To introduce the students to NGO sector and to provide an overview of NGOs
- To equip the students for formation of NGOs
- To equip students to manage all aspects of NGO – Manpower and Resource Mobilisation
- To acquire knowledge and skills in the planning and management of development projects
- To expose students to the success stories of NGO and Other organisation- International/National/Regional level

- Central social welfare board & its functions,
- Grant in aid – concept & pre requisite for release of grant

- Executive responsibilities
- Societies registration act 1860- Need, Significance, conditions and procedures
- Bye laws & constitution
- Role & responsibilities of Board, President, Secretary & Treasurer in a Registered Organisation

PAPER III: FUNDRAISING – PRINCIPLES AND STRATEGIES 10Hrs
