Introduction

The department of Post-Graduate Studies & Research in Analytical Chemistry established by Alva’s College affiliated to Mangalore University in the year 2008. The department provides quality education to the students for their holistic development and offers a unique opportunity to study Analytical chemistry with Industrial oriented curriculum which opens new vistas for teaching, Research and Industrial Recruitments. Department provides NET coaching, Certificate course, career guidance programme, placement training, Industrial visits, Extension activities, Guest lectures and soft skill development programme etc., as a part of curriculum. The department has MOU with industries which are beneficial for the students to carry out the academic project, research work, seminars and webinars. It is the only analytical chemistry department affiliated to Mangalore University.

Two years (4 Semesters)

Eligibility

Candidates seeking admission for M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry shall have studied Chemistry as optional/major / special subject in the Bachelor Degree programme.

 Well equipped laboratory with instruments like UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Fluorimeter, polarography, Sonicator and other analytical instruments
