Chemistry is responsible for many of the most important breakthrough in science. PG department of chemistry, Alva’s College, Moodbidri, was established in the year 2013 with an objective to impart knowledge in theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry. In addition to teaching, the department is also conducting NET coaching, Forum and research activities. Along with the core subjects of chemistry like organic, inorganic, physical and spectroscopy, students are exposed to other emerging subjects like green chemistry, nanotechnology, bioorganic chemistry to acquire knowledge in competitive world.
