MBA – HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT (AICTE Approved) from 2026-27
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management is a two-year postgraduate programme designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in managing healthcare delivery systems and medical organizations. The programme provides a comprehensive understanding of hospital administration, healthcare policy, medical ethics, health informatics, financial management in healthcare, and pharmaceutical supply chain operations. Through a balanced blend of theoretical learning, case study analysis, healthcare facility visits, hospital internships, and interactions with medical industry experts, students develop strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving abilities required to address unique real-world healthcare challenges. The curriculum is designed to meet the evolving needs of the global medical sector and prepares students for successful careers in hospital operations management, healthcare consulting, public health management, health insurance analysis, and medical entrepreneurship. Eligibility
Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree examination of a recognized University with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree programme (45% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates of Karnataka) are eligible for admission. The candidate should preferably hold a degree in Allied Health Sciences, Life Sciences, or a regular Bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated interest or foundational coursework in healthcare, biological sciences, or hospital administration.
Admission under the Government Quota is based on the performance in the entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), and the selection of candidates will be made by KEA as per the prevailing Government regulations.
