2014-15
Employability skills are important for any person to work in corporate. But it was found that there is gap in the employability skill in most of the students once they come out of the institution with their degree. So to overcome this drawback the institution started with HRD forum in the year 2007 to provide an open stage to learn more HR skills. Later on the forum walked a long way to bring out the potential among the students and prepare them to face the future challenges.
In the year 2014-15 it has conducted many events, guest lectures and industrial visits for the development of students. It has been observed that due to training activities, role play, group discussion, aptitude test and how to face interview sessions made the students to face job interviews and build confidence level.

2015-16
The HRD Forum help the students in developing their personality and makes them productive for future by conducting various activities. The forum co-ordinators and student co-ordinators conducted the activities and sessions for the enhancement of the students throughout the year. The year started with the discussion and allotment of the tasks for the students in the forum for the coming days. The students were divided into teams and allotted the tasks to do which helped in building their team spirit. Then the ice breaker session was held which welcomed the new comers to the forum and helped the students know each other better. An activity was conducted by the forum co-ordinators to introduce the interpersonal skills to the students with the aim of giving conceptual clarity on interpersonal skills.
To make students understand the importance of the verbal and non verbal communication, activities were conducted by the students of the forum. Many such activities were conducted which helped in improving the various human life skills needed for the human relations. Activities on listening and problem solving was also conducted to make students understand the relevance of listening in human relations and also to learn the skill of problem solving. The activity on assertiveness was also conducted by the forum co-ordinators to make students understand the need to be assertive in interpersonal relations. Another activity on interpersonal skills was conducted to acquire the skills to maintain the interpersonal relations for the students. The concluding session was conducted to obtain feedback regarding the forum sessions of the year. The year ended with the active participation of the students in the forum activities.

2016-17
HRD Forum is truly aim at students’ enhancement and growth. The forum for the year starts with the discussion of the plan with students for the year. The activities in the forum started with the ice breaker session for the new comers in the forum. The session helped students to know about each other which were conducted by the forum co-ordinators. The HRD forum conducted activities which helped the students to build confidence and bring out the creativity of the students. The activities such as collage making, quiz competition, effective communication, role play, group discussions, and elocution competition were conducted.
Forum students were also taken to orphanage to create sensitivity towards social problems. The collage competition conducted by the forum co-coordinators, which helped in bringing out the creativity of the students. Quiz competition conducted by the resource person to checked the general awareness of the students.. Forum co-ordinators also conducted the role play which aimed to build the confidence of the students. Training for the group discussions were also conducted for the students in the forum by the resource person. Forum for the year ended with the feedbacks and the discussion of the forum plan for the academic year 2017-18.
2017-18
The HRD conduct activities which enhances the personality of the students and helps them in developing their skills. The forum co-ordinators Ms. Nisha and Mrs.Ashwini guided the students towards enhancing their skills. The forum co-ordinators conducted the activities with the help of students of the forum. Forum conducted many games, guest talks, seminars, and group discussions. Forum had conducted the ice breaker session in the beginning of the year to welcome the new comers. Each student had to introduce themselves in a unique way. Students were given the activity where they had to find solutions to the problem and try to manage from crisis which show cased their crisis management skill. A session on logical reasoning was conducted to prepare the students to crack the attitude test. Group discussions were conducted on abstract topics to give the students an idea about the actual selection process, which would help them in future. The guest talks and seminars were conducted on self motivation, concentration and goal orientation. The resource persons helped the students to introspect themselves and improve their individual personalities. The forum of HRD eventually aimed on developing the students and giving them new experiences through various activities.
