Alva’s College Moodbidri excelled as Best Institution Award which conferred by Karnataka and Goa NCC Directorate for the year 2018-19. Brig. D. M. Purvimat VSM** Deputy Director General, Kar & Goa NCC Dte, has honoured Capt. Dr Rajesh B., Associated NCC Officer on the occasion of NCC RDC Contingent Felicitation Programme held at Bangalore. The best Institution award was selected based on participation in competitions in State and national Level NCC camps, performance in NCC Examinations, Selection of students in Indian defence forces, No. of NCC camps organised and facility provided, Performance of NCC Officer, Adventure activities conducted, Organisation of Social Services, contribution to national integration and infrastructure for NCC activities. Based on evaluation of above criterion, Alvas College NCC secured winner trophy under senior division with 751 points. The Kar & Goa NCC dte has 973 educational institutions with 74,00 cadets including boys and girls.
